The talk of the town.

Why TF did Auburn think it was a good idea to hire a guy from Boise to come to west Georgia to coach football?

They deserve this. Gus Malzahn would've had a 10 win season in '21. Steele probably could've got them to 8 or 9 wins. Instead they go with the Boise boy who is exceptionally good at pulling poon, but not so good at getting & keeping players.

The smartest thing they could do now is fire him for cause, get to keep their money and pray someone will want to take what is now a radioactive head coaching position.

Harsin will be back at BSU within a year

Firing Malzahn to hire Harsin was dumb to begin with. Gus wasn’t great, but the dude did make it to a BCS NCG and beat Bama more than any other coach(tied with Les Miles who’s three wins came before Bama was a dynasty)

I understand that no new coach is gonna be a guarantee for success, but Harsin was pretty mediocre at Boise State. If you’re gonna take a gamble, either do it with a coach setting the G5 on fire or a hot shot coordinator
He was terrible at BSU. Could never win a game against a team with a pulse. Just glad Auburn took him off our hands.

Dude, Gus loses to Ga Southern game because no way is he pulling Nix.

The odds of Malzahn getting to 10 wins is zero.

Steele would have gotten 8.

well this confirms it

Auburn w/ Malzahn would have won 12+ games

Had he beaten y'all like he should have, wonder if people would have been shitting on him now despite him losing coaches and some players? Had he won would it be, he's upgrading? processing the non believers out the locker room? Crazy how it's such a thin line

A quick glance shows that in 7 seasons he won damn near 80% of this games including a Fiesta Bowl and three conference titles.

I don't know what else you can reasonably ask for at a MWC school.

I'm pretty sure that comment you quoted was just to take a shot at OU. :dhd:
