I've worked in the airline industry since 1992 and have known thousands of flight attendants. For sure there are some bad ones like any other profession, but to act like they are all just idiots serving you while you fly is ignorant. Most I've interacted with are smart, caring and responsible. There is a pretty high level of training they go thru initially and recurrently to work in their field that doesn't equate to being a waitress.
I'm not sure what your point is about education level. There are plenty of careers where a GED or HS diploma is enough. Do you think a person has to have a college degree to have worth?
Are plumbers, electricians, aircraft and auto mechanics, factory workers, pilots, truck drivers, postal workers, even waiters/waitresses all beneath you?
To act like having a career with a minimum education level less than a college degree puts someone at a lower level than than anyone else, makes you sound like an arrogant prick.
