Everyone so fucking up tight on planes these days. flight attendants feeling like they are fucking spec ops and no one pushing back. "I don't feel safe with this person flying" is all it takes to get someone kicked off the plane. There is going to be a hard-correction and I'm about ready for it. Some flight attendant is going to try to kick someone off and the entire plane is going to revolt. Until that happens those low-skilled glorified waitresses need to hurry up and get back to sitting down and shutting up.

I've worked in the airline industry since 1992 and have known thousands of flight attendants. For sure there are some bad ones like any other profession, but to act like they are all just idiots serving you while you fly is ignorant. Most I've interacted with are smart, caring and responsible. There is a pretty high level of training they go thru initially and recurrently to work in their field that doesn't equate to being a waitress.
The hardest part about FA training was making sure not to screw up the safety announcement. Even that has been pre-recorded now.
Only the ones that proclaim they are more than waitresses on planes. Go read up on any of these cocksmokers who are fighting to keep alcohol off the planes even post pandemic. You will hear them claim they are equivalent of doctors, that they are a highly skilled labor group akin to EMT's because they took a fucking CPR class and know how to pick up the galley phone to call a real doctor when someone is having a medical issue.
Not on the plane, but I bitch slapped a dude at Narita Airport in Japan because he thought he was going to cut in the boarding line. He was another American business man and the Japanese around were greatly entertained by the physical feats of the savage gajins

This motherfucker thought he was slick, hanging around the line, but didn't get in line even after the very polite Japanese desk agent told him where the line was. Tried to casually step in front of me as the line was boarding. I was way hungover from hanging out the night before with my best nip homeboy, Koji drinking 10 different kinds of Shochu and had no filter for bullshit. Grabbed the strap of his computer bag and yanked him back and popped him on the top of the head like he was my son acting up and said what the fuck are you doing? Pussy apologized and got to the back of the line. All the Japanese peeps around were like "ohhh, ohhhh jibber jabber". They aren't used to physical confrontations.
