As a youth (without kids) I always thought it would be Badass to live at sea just off the coast, move up and down the coast based on weather etc and just live. To be young and naive again

well that explains why you like Nebraska so much.

tbh, I never saw the appeal in that. I want/need AC cranked, some room service, etc. My idea of “roughing it” is a holiday inn.
Most that I've looked at have all that.

They're fucking outrageous in price, but that's why I'm asking.

Love me some ac but I don't want mouth breathers touching muh food

I travelled a lot earlier in life. I’ve been to Australia a few times. I’ve been to Japan and Korea as well as Canada. I don’t have any real desire to go to Europe but if I did I think I’d like to check out Spain. Italy, France, etc just don’t interest me.

i travelled a lot to hawaii previously and I liked it so much I got a place over there. I’ve had a variety of different places over there. My first was in Waikiki. It was great but it just wasn’t relaxing. I’ve tried a few different spots but now I have a place just outside Waikiki on the other side of DH.

Have you been to hawaii? It’s great. Where’s these bungalows your thinking about ?

I'm out of fucks to give when it comes to visiting places, I just don't care about other cultures or the history of buildings and such anymore, it doesn't give me the fuzziest anymore. Then there's people like my mom who freaked out and actually said something along the lines of "it's been over 2 years since we've been to Europe" when I was saying it's been that long since my bil visited us (basically raised him for highschool til he enlisted) he's changing duty stations from Guam to Japan but she equated not seeing Europe as the same 😂

She had cabin fever from COVID and not being able to cruise 😂 I can't relate

I've been to Maui, but it was almost 30 years ago.

There are no overwater bungalows in Hawaii...something about it being a volcano en sech. :noidea:

I have just started browsing, but so far, I've seen em in the Maldives...Bora Bora..Tahiti, etc.

We have done Disneyland 6 times since like 2016, and just got back from our first trip to Disneyworld, and I am fucking done with Disney.

The kids handled the flying to Orlando very well, and I just think it's time for something different.

You know, where I don't have to walk 25K steps a day, and be in a crowd of a zillion cunts.
