This thread came without instructions on what to do but I assume this is what people are looking for based on the thread notes:

1. Football - Peyton Manning and Reggie White (tie)
2. Basketball - Bernard King (Allen Houston a close second)
3. Women's Basketball - Candice Parker
4. Softball - Monica Abbott
5. Baseball - Todd Helton

Overall Greatness - Robert Neyland

Left coaching for Military Duty twice (Panama and World War 2), 10 top all-time football coach, 3-Time Heavy Weight Champion of Boxing at West Point, Served as a Assistant Super Intendent at West Point under Douglas MacArthur, Youngest Brigadier General in Modern US History and served with General Stillwell in China and Burma campaigns during WW2, Last team to go undefeated and unscored on during regular season in College Football (1939, they did lose bowl game 14-0 to USC Trojans but were missing most of their best players), made designs for Neyland stadium that were utilized until 1990s including ideas for all of the expansions. He NEVER lost to Bear Bryant.

He twice had to rebuilt his football programs after leaving for war and got Tennessee back to winning both times (it would be like Saban leaving Alabama for 2-3 years, the program collapsing, and then he comes back and turns them around).

In fact the main reason Tennessee's still second on the list below despite having two decades of garbage performance is General Neyland:

Very true, I thought about including her. I went with Neyland because of his military background.

In reality, we probably cannot claim either as alumni because Summit actually graduated UT Martin and coached their first while Neyland graduated West Point.
