First team ever to have 5 defensive players drafted in the first round and first team ever to have two defensive players taken in the first round by the same NFL team.

Congrats to Travon Walker, Jordan Davis, Quay Walker, Devonte Wyann and Lewis Cine.

Can’t believe Nakobe Dean fell out of the first round, guess it’s the measureables, he is a bit undersized

If UGA had the talent the NFL teams think they did, they shouldn't have lost even one game.

Bama’s talent on offense was equal to UGA’s talent on defense. They split their games
 
I remember when OU had 3 of the first 4 picks a few years ago. Thanks to Lincoln's decline we didn't have a single first round pick.

Did he decline? Sounds to me like he wasted all the talent he ever had. 3 of the top 4 picks and never won a playoff game? Oklahoma fans should be thrilled to get a new coach IMO.

But the entire Big 12 had zero first round picks

Georgia math may have 2=5. But my old fashioned West Texas arithmetic doesn't. Here in the oil patch 5 > 2. UGA had five defensive guys drafted in the 1st round. Bama had two offensive guys drafted in the first round.

Alabama's talent on offense was NOT equal to UGA's talent on defense...at least according to the NFL draft.

And they shouldn't have had any. The only teams that have recruited at NFL talent level have been Texas and OU. We saw what they did with that talent.

I watch Big 12 games all the time and I can't think of any that should have been picked that high. The Baylor safety might have been as good as some of the other safties taken but that's about it.

Bryce Young and their stud o-linemen not named Neal weren’t eligible for the draft.
