If I was @HammerDown , i would let someone start an alt as Robin, maybe a Joker, and. Penguin alt. Lock batman in a thread with them. Can I be the butler dude? Pretty fucking please hammer! This is when alts are needed god dammit! @Wild Turkey back me up here! This is a potential gold mine.

Yes leniency was given to those who were known commodities and it was clear who was just in a surly mood one day vs a noob who rolled in with both barrels blazing. I and the other mods would try to read everything but not a lot of attention can be given to every post so a lot is missed. The really bad stuff is seen or reported and dealt with.

It just comes down to people understanding what you are going to get on a mostly anonymous message board, and choosing to partake or avoid it. Know that if you go in and make a good point with facts and cited sources, and still get slammed. Assume everyone you are talking to is a 13 year old male and things make a lot more sense in the PF.

I take pride in knowing that I always debated fairly and with well sourced facts. I never resorted to personal insults, even when I was insulted first and I with this knowledge I am able to sleep like a baby each and every night.
