Washington is a 3.5 point favorite
Over/Under of 56.5

Michigan State has not won a regular season west coast game since 1959

Washington leads the all time head to head 2-1 with winning the last two.

Michigan State’s top offensive weapon, Jayden Reed is banged up so who knows how much time he will see. Thorne is inconsistent on the best of days but I don’t see the Spartans coming out with the W here. MSU is massively overrated and Vegas knows it, as you can see from the line. Michigan State was a feel good story last year if you didn’t look past the surface. They are massively flawed and don’t have a Heisman hopeful on the team to cover up those gaps.

Prediction : Michigan State 17 Washington 24

Sparty is overrated because of last years record but they’re still a solid team. I expect this to be a very close game but I have Washington edging Sparty out at home

Washington is my underrated pick over yonder in that one thread some guy made. We don't know much about either teams real capabilities. They both put up points on weak competition and played decent defense against the same. They did what they were supposed to do so far. But...

UW hasn’t beaten a ranked nonconference Power Five opponent inside Husky Stadium since 2001...

I watched UW vs Kent, the offense looked fast, but small to me. If Sparty gets to Penix and hits him a lot, they will win. Thats the key for them. Penix is brittle, good QB when he has time and isn't injured.

Be that as it may, I like the Deboer hire and believe he will get them on the right track, starting today!

Sparty 20
UW 21

That last ranked non con P5 was Michigan and was also #11. The win came 3 days before the towers fell.

To be fair they haven't had a ton of ranked P5's come to town since then. LSU, Auburn, Nebraska (yeah THAT long ago lol). And they beat ranked Boise State twice at home in that span.

Seems UW is the popular pick, even among the handicappers I've seen, but no one knows what either team really is at this point.

What I know is I'll be there liberally lubed up with libations hoping for a good game and no major injuries for either team.

I do hope Michigan plays at Husky Stadium again soon, I was really looking forward to them playing in 2020.

I'll pick MSU in a shootout. 37-34. Go Huskies though :)

Penix. You beautiful son of a bitch.

Sparty is not a play from behind team. Could get ugly quick.

It's weird watching an offense that looks competent. I'm so used to just cringing through offensive series and hoping the defense can get it done.

Great start for the Huskies. That first drive looked easy
