2022-2023 NCAA College Basketball

I sure have seen a lot of close hard fought games in arenas with big crowds that are going crazy. Players and coaches giving great efforts.

And to think some say the regular season doesn't matter. I don't know what they're watching... but I see a lot of "matter".
The only people who say that are the people who don't watch CBB until they fill out their brackets on March

College basketball has infinitely better OOC than CFB abd roughly 50× as many meaningful games in the regular season

By week 6 in CFB 90% of the games are competely and totally irrelevant on a national scale

....and the anti playoff expansion CFB group. "Expanding the playoffs is going to ruin the regular season, blah, blah, blah...". It is going to ENHANCE the regular season. More games later in the season are going to have meaning and impact. Even games in one conference can have an impact on teams from the other conferences. It is going to be great IMO.

Only thing is I want to see games at home stadiums so teams will really keep the pedal to the medal as long as possible. But, I'm a "screw the bowls" guy and don't really give a shit about them. Move 'em to the beginning on the season with good matchups if people are hell bent on keeping them. We already have a lot of neutral site games. Or let the non playoff teams fill 'em.

Is this going to be the first year in quite a while where there is no clear favorite to win it all?

Deacs are 9-7 in conference play (and not a chance in hell they make the tournament) and that is causing me to think that the season is over but god damn, they still have four conference games left.

Was their non conference schedule/results strong?

The ACC sucks so not a lot of chances to pick up resume building wins.
That sucks but teams are reliant on how good their compadres are nowadays. That’s been the situation for Gonzaga, Houston and teams from other G5 leagues. Hell it even crept into the P5 recently. PAC was down a few years ago.

Tennessee and Baylor are on the struggle bus right now!

Tenn is struggling a little.

B12 teams beating each other is just swapping seeds. The league did so well OOC they are guaranteed like 5 of the Top 14 seeds.

Is this suppose to be impressive? The kid play 5 full seasons and still couldn't pass pistol pete...
