we are in on a new construction home in New Caney.. gated community.. But the market is tough.. we are competing with 3 other families for that house that will be ready in May. Just wired my $5k in Earnest money this afternoon

If you conduct yourself IRL like you do here, you ain’t getting that house.

One of the principals I mentored several years ago was being recruited from DeSoto to Katy. He went down for the interview and to check things out. Said all he heard was "We do things the Katy way." After he started inquiring about what exactly was the Katy way, he figured out they weren't doing anything different from a lot of places. He wasn't too thrilled with that type of mentality. Ended up in San Antonio.

True story. Years ago my Dad and I and some other friends went to an OU game at Rice. The night before the game we're staying at the Ramada Inn in Katy and we're standing out in the parking lot shooting the breeze after getting back from dinner. We see a Corvette pull up in front of the motel and it's a guy with a hot looking blonde and they're kissing and he's pawing her. My Dad says "Damn, look at that lucky bastard". He hops out of the car and heads into the office. He's gone maybe a minute when she crawls over behind the wheel, burns a U and hits the street going eastbound and down. He comes out a few minutes later and he's looking everywhere. Yeah, we're laughing. My Dad says "Damn, look at that stupid bastard".

ND landed a 5* out of Ohio today. Have no clue if it'll stick or not. Freeman already doing wonders in recruiting.

A defensive end, too... Two positions you wouldn't expect to lose an in state kid right now. DE and WR

it feels like he's going to succeed BK don't it?

Yeah, it's a huge position of need. He's out best DL recruit since Aaron Lynch who transferred after one season. Hopefully he stays committed and doesn't transfer.

I'm not sure. I do think the successor is on the staff though. Whether that's Tommy Rees(former QB at ND) or Freeman. I think both are pretty good options tbh. If Freeman keeps recruiting the way he is, he's to important to let walk to be a HC somewhere else.
