Love tourney time! Love it!

What are you favorite things about March Madness?

Favorite thing has to be the blue bloods being upset in the early rounds, but honestly, any time they lose it's a good feeling.

There's nothing like it. And nowadays, I can work remotely on Thursday/Friday

I'm probably going to work remotely one day and take the other day off and then just work the mornings of the two days.

Sometimes I have years where my job is more chill, but that's not this year unfortunately.

When I was still single I would knock off early on Thursday to hit a sports bar (Blondies was a favorite) and then take Friday off. Haven't done that in a loooong time.

My wife still reminds me that the first year we were married, she was in the bedroom with horrible pregnancy sickness while i was watching b-ball in the LR. #NeverForget

I've generally been able to work life around those first 4 days.

The next week is a different story as I've had to miss a lot of those games. But I'll choose missing the 2nd week every time, unless of course Nova is in it.

It's personal I guess, but there's something compelling about being able to follow 4 high meaning games at the same time. None of my friends are into it at all, and many follow pro sports quite closely.

It's a very niche interest on the East coast at least

I found a hack. I always schedule a vasectomy the first two days of the tournament. This has served me well for 5 years straight

I assume the father of the child was in there with her?

You know, come to think of it...I DID schedule my vasectomy during march madness about 15 years ago. Never thought of making it an annual event

Anytime one of the top four seeds in a region loses it is great. Blue blood or not.

Normally, I'd agree with you, but Baylor is potentially a 4 seed this year...

Yup. Years ago, I had an appointment with the vasectomy doctor in like Oct/Nov to get a vasectomy scheduled. He asked me if I liked college basketball and suggested he had openings the day before the NCAA basketball tournament started in March.
I sat in my recliner and my wife kept refilling buckets of ice cold beer for my lap the entire first 4 days.

I had zero problems with the vasectomy (no pain or swelling) and probably could have been doing chores if I'd wanted to. However, thanks to that doctor I milked it for all I could get. LOL
