49ers QB Controversy

Jimmy G wants a trade but the Niners are reluctant to do it.

Meh. One of them will still walk into Lambeau next January with that defense and running game and send Manbun home to count his 50 mil.
 
There isn't any QB controversy. It was well known Lance was going to be starter in 2022 since day he was drafted. Jimmy G has basically already said goodbye to the Bay Area and 49er fans. A trade deal didn't get done for a number of reasons but the situation will get resolved by the end of the season. Despite what is written or said, the FO does not want to pay JG $25 mill to sit on the bench when the team having to extend contracts to other players.
