At the end of the day, as a football fan I have no issue with the league being in support of things like the Trevor Project.
What I can’t shake is this league had ASTRONOMICAL ratings just a few years ago. Between the mishandling of the Ray Rices of the league (and then te over handling of such situations), as well as the anthem kneeling, they have seen that erode.
They still have ratings that the league leaders would have sacrificed first borns for 20 years ago, but I can’t shake the feel that all they want is ratings they had just a little while back, and that’s all that drives these things.
It kind of hollows out the impact of them being pro anything.

Damnit…I remember this movie. The only good thing about it was her, and scenes like this.
Of course, that’s the only reason I went and saw it, anyway.
