APR is kind of a weird one.

It's really a measure of how good a school is at funneling athletes into easy majors/classes and retaining players.

Idaho had some big issues with this back in the day largely IMO because the AD and head coach didn't understand how to game the system correctly. No surprise there, ineptitude all around. Four head coaches in five years and five coaches in 10 years certainly didn't help with the retention part either.
