I'm thinking it has more to do with whether or not a producer should be more aware of everything happening on the set than the actor would be. The prosecution might have been trying to set up the angle that Baldwin should have seen receipts of ammunition that were both live and dummy, so he should have taken extra precautions to ensure that he had dummy rounds. Or it was his creative decision to both use the setup of shooting at the camera and to not use digital effects to recreate a gunshot that set this scenario up in the first place. Or he was the guy who hired the armament person who goofed on the loaded ammo. What his job was when he shot is prejudicial, yet him aiming a gun and pulling the trigger isn't. Okay ...
Prosecution fucked up anyway. It's a shame for the family of Halyna Hutchins, because Baldwin likely does bear a good deal of responsibility here.
