Now I need an Amazon Prime membership to get the weather?

:gaah:

Got around 2-3" inches of wet snow here, though there's reports of around a foot of snow in Highland Lakes and High Point (higher elevations of NJ, they tend to do really well in these kinds of storms). Still snowing. A few days ago, it looked like mostly rain with maybe some snow mixing on the backend, so this was unexpected.

Our first batch of gay, white bullshit came down overnight at about 1245 am. Probably less than an inch, most of it’s already melted away.

It is a bit windy now, tho.

It is cold as crap here. However, that white stuff refuses to fall in this area anymore. We are cursed.

I miss snow. We used to get a good amount for our area each year. Haven't seen it in 3-4 years. Anyone got snow yet?
We've had really warm winters the last 3-4 years here in SE Michigan. The last few we've barely had any of our inland lakes and ponds ice over, sans like two weeks in late January. And wouldn't you know, I went out and bought a snow blower in like 2019 because I was tired of the weekly shoveling before getting the kids to the bus stop. Then it basically stopped snowing for 4 years.

BUT we actually had a bit of cold and snow so far this year. A couple inches in the last few weeks (mostly melted yesterday because it got to like 45 and sunny). We'll see if the cold sticks around or if I'm going to have more pictures of my kids at the playground when it's 50 and sunny mid January.

Snowing now. It won't stay long.
