Well my spring break will be watching my two kids and another kindergartener for virtual school this week. The 23 year old we hired several months back, tested positive for COVID this morning, after having last week off while my wife and the kids had their own spring break. While we've known her for years as a former daycare worker and babysitter, even taking her with us on vacations, it was only a matter of time before she'd be out with quarantine.

While my family hasn't gone out over this last year, with only myself to get groceries/take out, my wife and I got fully vaccinated last month, we still maintained our bubble since we 've been visiting my father-in-law who's under hospice care a few hours away each weekend. We knew we couldn't impose the same mindset on our sitter and hoped she'd be as careful as she could be, knowing the situation, but she's young and was off last week with I'm sure plenty of COVID fatigue.

So I'll be watching all 3 kiddos this week and take a couple days off next week to do so, alternating with my wife. I'll try to keep the day drinking to a minimum, but we'll see if that lasts. The sitter's family is really mad at her, as her younger sister now has to quarantine and miss her prom.

About time to take them outside for some fun in the sun with sprinklers. The first bottle of Elisian Space Dust IPA will be cracked as soon as the other kindergartener gets picked up in a couple hours.

So they are in virtual school? Mine went back in person April 2 but had yesterday off. I forgot how much less productive my workday was when he was home.

We made the decision to go the full year virtual, considering the yo-yo effect of school shut down due to cases for consistency sake. Their system opened for hybrid in mid-October, with their school a couple weeks later because of teacher cases, only to shut down at Thanksgiving through mid-January. They've been hybrid since, while the system my program partners with has been hybrid since the second week of October and I've allowed students to come 4 days a week to my program for the last few weeks.

Our bubble also allowed them to have another kid to play with, while most kids in school are essentially prevented from playing while wearing a mask all day, which was very difficult for my 2nd grader and kindergartener. It's certainly been tough, but with 6 weeks to go in the school year for them, I'm extremely proud of how the kids have done.

23 year old nanny huh? Got any proof, photographic perhaps?

I've known her since she was a kid in elementary school, being a former colleague's daughter, so while I'm sure she's in several pictures with my kids at Pigeon Forge and the beach, that thought process doesn't cross my mind.

Goddamn.

When I hear these stories, I'm so fucking thankful to live in a district that's been 100% open this entire school year, K-12.

Man, some of y'all need to go to the NSFW forum or a porn site for some release if you're that blocked up.

jack off please GIF

Finding the unexpected babe is way more fun. Like hunting in the wild vs a nature preserve.

I guess years of teaching has got me "trained" to look away and block out those thoughts, especially with a couple former colleagues I've had that couldn't and lost their career and families.

Someone got into the Penthouse Forum archives.

Just set up a pen in the backyard and let em roam free. If you angle a security cam out there, you can monitor them from your phone without ever having to leave the couch!
