Get what? USC has 2 rivals...UCLA and Notre Dame. When the USC/UCLA game is @UCLA, then the USC/ND game is @USC and is the last game of the season.

When the USC/UCLA game is @USC, then that is normally the last game of the season (there have been exceptions for both teams a few times) and the USC/ND game is @ND and played mid-late October.

So, either way, they are playing a rival during rivalry week.

As someone else said..."How do you not know this?"

Yeah, I thought both defenses played well for the most part and both were able to step up at important points in the game. UCLA holding USC to field goals on those 3 drives into the red zone in the first half, kept them in the game. Could have gotten ugly if they didn't stand up like that.

That stop by USC's defense on 4th and 1 probably won the game for them.
 
A lot of haters said USC would struggle to win Big Ten road games in November because of the weather. I’m happy Riley and USC got to prove those haters wrong
