dip that fish in some miracle whip and you've got a meal.
 
The trick to frying fish is to dredge the pieces in corn starch first....shake off excess and then place in fridge for 30 mins. before battering and frying them. Try to keep all ingredients as cold as possible before frying.

The corn starch sticks to the fish.....the batter sticks to the cornstarch....so the batter stays on the fish!

This works with dry or wet batter mixes.
 
The first Fish and Chips I had was in Salsalito, California in 1974.
It was the first, and best, I ever had. It was wonderful, and I was really hungry by that time.

It was in a big basket and it was all touching each other and it was great.
