247Sports recently polled recruits at the All-American Bowl and one of the topics centered around college football’s top facilities. Here are the college football programs recruits think have the best facilities in the nation.

1. Oregon
2. Georgia
3. ND
4. Alabama
T5. OSU
T5. Clemson
7. Michigan
T8. LSU
T8. Oklahoma
T8. PSU
T8. Texas
T8 A&M

From what I understand I’d guess A&M may jump a spot or two before too long. Jimbo got em building in CS and God knows A&M has the money so… again just from what I’ve heard/read @fordman84 may know for sure.

Back in the 90's people always said it was Nebraskas facilities and SnC program that set them apart.... not making the list could be a contributor to the decline.

I for one am SHOCKED I don’t see Minnesota anywhere on this list…..

ND has sunk a lot of money into their facilities in the past few years but by modern standards even the Gug is a little dated. Was surprised they were as high as 3.

that is why it is on the agenda currently because the previous admins unwillingness to devote/obtain resources to build newer better more state of the art 30 years is a long time to sit by and watch the world pass you up

I'll wait for the Best Hookers Poll.

The way it typically rolls is your program spends a ton of money shoots up the list, then other sports get the love and it’s 15 to 20 years later you upgrade again. Auburn spent a huge amount on their new basketball arena but it’s now ranked as one of the best and toughest in the country. It was worth the money and the wait football wise.

Yeah, Nebraska could drop basketball for all I care. I would rather they pick up a hockey team anyway. But with the state of the program, all funds should be invested into football at this point.

Money isn’t going to solve your issue. I’m not sure Nebraska is going to be back the way recruiting works now.

I'm actually surprised that UT is ranked that high, they just finished the SEZ project this past fall and still have a new practice facility in the horizon once the moody center is complete (basketball arena).

Its more about what ya spend on players and coaches now TBH. Facilities are still important but..

The thing about it is, when you bring in football recruits in Winter; they go to things like Basketball games. So having impressive facilities beyond Football is actually weirdly important to Football recruiting. You aren't going to want to take your football recruits to a dump during January and February.

Who knows, maybe that won't matter now that you can straight up buy recruits; but it at least used to.
