Looking for a better than sawdust tasting candy bar, not loads of sugar and crap, for a snack while at work. What ya got?

What's the point? That's like vegan steak...why? No candy bar is bad for you in moderation, so just eat fewer of them but better quality.

With that said, if it isn't really just about "candy" but looking for that snack that is better for you than a snickers my son seems to like teh Robert Ivine's Fit Crunch bars the best. We try to have a stock of protein bars and things like that for quick snacks between games or when he has to rush home from school before lessons.

I like these.
Don't know if they are any healthier, but it makes me think it is, which is all that matters.

I like those, but they are more often than not a situation of "here let me break your teeth, except for all these pieces that fall everywhere any time you take a bite"

Yeah I should have said protein bar I guess. A friend of mine likes the Robert Irvine ones. My wife likes the Barbell ones. Maybe a banana and peanut butter will be my go to.

The only way to eat them is break them up over a trash can and then just eat the individual pieces. If you just bite into one then you better have a vacuum on hand.

Payday?

I had a coworker who ran marathons and she claimed a Snickers bar was surprisingly fairly healthy.

Yeah, I have read this in different places. I do love a Snickers. Looking at Robert Irvine's Bars. Might try the peanut butter chocolate.

Those are annoying. I like the sweet and salty ones better, unless I'm like leaving them in a car or a bag where the sweet bars will melt. Soft baked muffin bars and the oatmeal bars are decent for situations where the sweet and salty bars might melt.

Not a candy bar, but I hate ice cream but eat like a pint a week of Klimon.

The Built bar is supposed good. Not sure of flavors.

Also, have you tried the Optiva ones?
