I've got Tony Cloninger on July 3, 1966

3-5, 2 grand slams, 9 RBIs

He also pitched a complete game, allowing just 3 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks.

Unfortunately..........

Jack Morris, game 7, 1991 World Series.

Tom Glavine in game 6, 1995 World Series deserves a mention as well.

What did they do at the plate?

Well Morris never had an at-bat in his game. I'm sure Glavine went 0-fer, if memory serves. However, the magnitude of the games + the performance gets those 2 in the conversation.

Mark Whitten with the Cardinals, 4-5 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI against the Reds on Sept. 7, 1993.

Didn't pitch though.

The only blemish is he did commit an error that game.

Cloninger is still tied for the franchise record for RBIs in a game. Adam Duvall tied it during the 29 run game earlier this year.
