Black Adam, a sort of spin-off of Shazam!, will be the 11th film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), following Suicide Squad 2: The Suicide Squad and preceding The Batman Shazam! 2: Fury of the Gods.

Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson will be playing the titular character and announced on Instagram that the release date will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 (update: later delayed to Friday, July 29, 2022 Friday, October 21, 2022):

- Sarah Shahi has been cast in an unrevealed role
- Aldis Hodge has been cast as Hawkman
- Noah Centineo has been cast as Atom Smasher
- Jaume Collet-Serra will direct
 
Pierce Brosnan is a good actor. He gets a bad rap for his Bond movies not being too great in the 90s.

I don't know anything about Dr. Fate, but I hope they let Brosnan use his natural Irish accent.
