Disney reconfirmed today (they originally announced it over a year ago at SDCC 2019) that Mahershala Ali, who earlier played Cottonmouth in Luke Cage, now has a new role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Blade. The film will likely be released in 2023 on Friday, November 3, 2023 Friday, September 6, 2024 Friday, February 14, 2025 Friday, November 7, 2025, following Fantastic Four Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels Thunderbolts Fantastic Four and preceding Fantastic Four Captain America 4: New World Order Deadpool 3 Fantastic Four Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty.
