Oklahoma State needs to pully that scholly

Weird.

Mixon can punch a gal and people are ready to do unspeakable things to him.
This kid fucking mows down someone in his goddamn hotrod at over 100 mph KILLING THEM and noone seems to care?

That's weird.

On yes, the Mixon saga. A lot of people hate anything to do with Oklahoma because we win a lot.......and then (lately) we fall on our ass when it counts the most. That lends itself not only to being hated but, even worse, ridicule. I'm tired of Oklahoma being like a dog that is hated because it barks too much or shits on the sidewalk. I want to get back to being seriously hated because OU is vicious and bites......and wins when it counts the most.

Here is part of his offer list

There is no official record on how fast he was driving. That came from family members of the victim who are still trying to process this. All we really know is a terrible tragedy occurred and a kid who wasn't intoxicated hit another kid on a bicycle and he died. The kid driving was advised to plead out as a juvenile so it would get expunged at some point and move on from it. It's a sad situation for all parties.

Doesn't look so good from the Sooner high horse when they had an offer out to this kid too.

Tragedy or not, Oklahoma State should probably cut ties with this kid

Offers don't equal scholarships. Due diligence often times isn't exercised unless there is real interest from both parties. Nice try though.

Lol so you are going with the "we offered him but wouldn't have signed him if he said yes" defense?

I call bullshit

.......yeah.......real sad.....not sure about the "all parties" bit....i'd rather be able to hug my child than getting to "move on from it"....dead child's family probably a wee bit sadder you think? sick take....but I see you.

Ok faggot.

Show me where they pulled his offer? Show me where he was committed to OU in order for them to be ready to sign him as this tweet claims.

Oklahoma offered this kid 9 days after the incident occured. They were the only team to offer him after it happened. You really want us to believe they had no idea?

I don't think anyone pulled their offer. I've seen us pull committed kids offers for getting into classroom fights.

This was a tragic accident and I'd say the same thing if the kid was headed to school 90 miles south. It's one thing to poke fun at a coach leaving but going after a kid you gladly would have taken because he got into a traffic accident and killed someone is pretty low.

These are always tough. It's easy to say pull his scholarship! Throw him away!
Playing college football is a privilege. I get it. I wouldn't be in favor of giving them for those who overtly committed criminal acts. I'm not as fast at wanting society to shun and forever punish those who made really stupid mistakes in judgement.
If he had been under the influence I'd say pull it. This one? It's tough.

Oh fuck right off with your holier than thou bullshit. You KNOW you were one of many clutching your pearls after Mixon punched that gal and tsk tsking OU for not kicking him off the team immediately. Turnabout is fair play pussy.

I'm not saying ruin this young man's life forever for this accident, but dude shouldn't be playing D1 ball anywhere for a bit. Just like Mixon LOSING a FULL YEAR of eligibility for his actions and having to dot a whole bunch of I's and cross even more T's.

Offering and signing are two entirely different animals.

If anything, any NIL $ he ever makes should be diverted to the family of the victim.

Is he still signed? If not then no big whoop and I'll retract my indignation.

Y'all offered him after it happened. Why are you so upset about it now? And offered and signed aren't that different. If he decided to go your way I wouldn't be starting threads here. I had a cousin involved in something similar and it wasn't his fault. He had a car crash and the other person didn't make it. That messed him up for a while but less than the guy who didn’t make it.
If the guy was drunk I'd have a different opinion but that wasn't the case here so it sucks but let's move on.

I feel bad for the family but the kid was riding a bicycle down the middle of the road at night. He didn't need to pay the price he did for it but if he's on the sidewalk this doesn't happen. I don't want to take away from what happened but it was a tragic accident and the kid pled out as a juvenile to get it off his record early. No one pulled their offer because of it and you guys even offered after it happened so spare me the high horse bullshit.

He was 17 and probably driving too fast. I did that at 17. We all did. Sucks for everyone involved that him doing that resulted in a kid getting killed but there is no reason to kill his character for it.

No idea who this HS kid is.

Joe Mixon makes millions and nobody ever punched a gal on accident.

Hope that cleared it all up.
