My gut tells me Warren is running from a nightmare that includes the logistics of expanding, dealing with the different opinions of more expansion or not, potential new wave of COVID about to hit plus add on the issues and infighting associated with NIL and the portal.

A lot of this he didn’t sign up for in the first place and probably can’t hand it off fast enough even if it means a big pay cut.

For that first part to happen the new guy would have to convince most B1G presidents to vote no in a new vote of that.

A little off-topic but I don't see any Expansion threads on here right now.

Rumors are that Oregon and Washington are still desperately trying to get into the B1G. They have offered to take less on the revenue sharing to increase the share per B1G team and make it more attractive to both of them.

I think B1G may eventually get both but timing seems to be off right now. I still think the B1G is trying to grab Notre Dame.
