I mean….this is one thing I’ve always liked about Arians….he’s not full of bullshit. But, he’s also been reported as a damn genuine guy.
In todays PR world this might read like fluff, but I sincerely believe this was a big piece of his decision to step away now and transition to a damn good coach that’s gotten one shitty shot at HC before.

Let's recap; Brady retires in an effort to force his way out of his contract so he can go home to SF for one last hurrah. Bruce Arians says Brady ain't going anywhere, if Brady wants to play it will be here in Tampa cuz we got plenty of money for him. Brady realizes he has no leverage so he un-retires, puts his tail between his legs and starts actively recruiting his homies to join him only to have Bruce bail out and leave Tawmee with a HC that couldn't coach a high school offense.
Arians is a big time dewshnozzle, but he wins the day with the maneuver.
