Can we stop pretending that Ryan Day is anything but an average coach now?

He definitely let pressure get to him on that kick so who is to say he would not have had him been a 40 yarder?

Meh. Hell if I know. I just thought it was something to think about.

But part of the whole pressure thing is having less room for error, tho. It probably doesn’t help to know that you have to do everything just perfectly.

A more centered FG 5-7 yds or so closer wouldn’t hurt.

That was a great play by Ringo getting a hand on that ball. It looked like Johnson had position to make a play there.
Ringo is the most frustrating player on the team IMO. He makes great plays at times, but at other times you just ask what the fuck was he doing. I mean, he has arguably the most iconic play for n program history, but he just gets lost in coverage like 5 times per game.

He called two pass plays. One was deflected, and the other Stroud had to throw it away to avoid a sack

That stupid run play on on 1st down kinda killed their momentum. Just saying.

Day is a good coach, nice transition from Suburban, but he is not at the top level. That is reserved for Saban (and maybe Smart). The top level isn't and shouldn't be crowded.

Did you hear the explanation? Situationally, he thought it was the correct call.

Totally agree. I thought Day called a great game

yeah, I don't see how the offense let them down at all. 41 points against a top 5 scoring defense? The only other time Georgia gave up more than 25 points this year was against LSU, and LSU were never really in that game.

i am glad to hear that the coach that is in prime position to win back to back nattys is MAYBE a top level coach

Absolutely and maybe if it is closer he doesn't try to put so much leg in it and cause the hook but damn he was no where close lol
