My dad had a 1963 corvette roadster when I was a kid. He bought it for 5k. Sold it for 10k in 1988 or so. I can't imagine what it's worth now.
I saw a Red split window Vette yesterday. Probably the original paint because it was pretty faded, but otherwise it looked pretty solid.
I did lots of 4 wheelin in a 78 Scout. It was a company truck, right hand drive, plain jane POS that had bias ply snow tires and no lift kit or nothing. With lockers in both axles and the transfer case that old hunk of rusting junk never let me down.An International Scout from the late 70's

I'm be a truck guy my whole life, never really saw the point of cars that aren't on the race track, but I would like to have a 59 Cadillac.
A 63 split window in fine shape is worth 100-150K, about twice what a 63 convertible in similar condition will fetch. Some of the rarest 63's like a Z06 or a super low mileage or highly optioned units can get double or more of that.My dad had a 1963 corvette roadster when I was a kid. He bought it for 5k. I saw one of these in town here. It is a custom car with the front of a 57 Chevy Bel Air, middle of a 58 impala, and rear of a 59 corvette. They definitely are eye grabbers. They call them 789s.
