yeah Casey is good, just will be inconsistent with deep throws. Also likes to hold the ball a little longer in the pocket and is hesitant to run. But he's a good leader from what I've seen. Class act.. now his dad.....

After that Bowl Game performance, I thought he was the guy.
As I watched this year, I had questions.

Was it his O-line ???

Texas's two biggest problems are coaching and culture. They've got the talent. And dumping a jillion dollars into the kitty to pay/reward/spoil players won't solve the situation even if they don't believe it . Further, their 37 +/- new players won't hit the jackpot next year either because Rent-A-Teams will not be any school's salvation. Coaching and culture, grasshopper; the two hardest things to get right.

O line did him no favors but he left a lot of points on the field as well. During the streak of second half collapses, he failed to find the open guy that was there. He also should have held the ball and ran instead of taking a sack. I think he has a better feel for a collapsing pocket but after taking a few hits, his timing was all off

keep dumping money..because this is actually working.. this incoming OL class is the best that ever been signed (Campbell has signed already, just waiting to announce later) at UT. They bought another QB (per media) from the portal, and are about to buy a WR or 2 from the portal soon.

Screw culture, just buy, buy, buy

He struggled vs any decent defense. It turns out that it’s pretty easy to play QB when your RB goes for 200 yards. He was 9th in QBR in the Big 12 and 9th in Ints per attempt. He has a weak arm and tends to get stuck on his first read

I don’t know but I don’t think his last name will be Martinez so I don’t think Nebraska will be interested.
