Chauncey Billups: Why is Allen Iverson in the HoF and I'm not?

Chauncey Billups had a whole team in Detroit. Iverson was by himself in Philly.

I think Chauncey deserves a nod. Finals mvp bruh, not everyone gets that

Meh. Chauncey Billups was a part of a great team. Meanwhile, Allen Iverson WAS the offense for the Philadelphia 76ers at the time. Eric Snow, Mutumbo, Aaron McKie, and Tyrone Hill weren't elite scorers. Iverson had more to carry than Chauncey.

AI was great, Billups was good.

Billups will get in. Have to laugh at him comparing himself to AI though.

AI- 26.7 ppg and 6.2 apg
CB- 15.2 ppg and 5.4 apg

Soon Chaunc, soon.

Still mad at JoeD for deciding he'd rather have AI than Mr. Big Shot. Not as mad as Rip was, but mad.

hes right. he should be in. but hes not AI.

celtics really fucked that one up.

from 2003-12 he was 17.3/6.1/3.4
We're seriously going to lower the bar to let Chauncey Billups in? No fuckin way, man. You let him in, you need to let hundreds of others in as well.

Not counting Finals MVP's that are still playing or players not eligible for the HOF yet how many Finals MVP's do you think have been left outta the HOF?

Chauncey to me is borderline. He was a really good player, but at his peak he was never a top 15 player in the NBA. There's absolutely no way he was a better player than AI.

Cornbread! Although if it were up to me I'd kick every Laker that's been a Finals MVP the fuck outta the HOF. Not to sound overly biased or anything.

LMAO, did you just drop Matt Geiger and reference in his prime?

Dikembe played with Iverson for 1.5 years.
Coleman left right after Iverson was drafted and returned to play on the downswing of his career.
Toni Kukoc played for Philly for half of two seasons.

If you're actually going to go off who Iversons best teammates were peak in Philly they would be
Aaron McKie
Eric Snow
Theo Ratliff

Chaunceys were:
Rip Hamilton
Rasheed Wallace
Tayshaun Prince
Ben Wallace

for multiple years.....

Iguodala doesn't make it. But to be fair he wasn't even the 2nd best player in that series. Lebron was 1, Steph was 2. If by tradition the winner gets the MVP it should have been Steph.
