I don’t like it one bit. Sanford Stadium seats more, and Bobby Dodd is a cool stadium to catch a game.

One neutral site annual rivalry game is enough(though there’s talks of the WLOCP being played at the campuses)

Only been to the Falcons Stadium for concerts, never for a game

A few years ago the GT athletics department was strapped for cash. So, we agreed to give up one home game per year to play in Mercedes Benz Stadium. Today we're playing Notre Dame. And next year we're giving up our home game vs UGA. I believe we're getting ~$10 mil for the UGA game. It's not the best, but we need the money.

It's getting better but it's still a long road. There were some incredibly bad decisions made in the recent past that have really screwed us today, but from what I can tell we are slowly emerging from the financial hole we dug for ourselves.

Bobby Dodd is also the oldest stadium in the FBS.

I’m not sure putting bigger games in MB stadium will do much for them. Most reports from yesterday were that the stadium was only at about 70% capacity and there was a substantial number of ND fans. A few shots of the crowd showed a lot of empty seats.

Well yeah I’m sure that game will. But don’t know how much they paid to have the game there and not sell it out kinda goes against their revenue generating strategy
