Guessing he's playing in this bowl game so he can collect all his NIL money. It's probably baked into his deal. With that said, I'm also guessing the powers that be never thought the bowl game would be the Outback Bowl.

We aren't winning anything. Our guys have already announced they won't be playing. Our two DT's who will be 1st round picks, both sitting out. Our top DE is sitting out. Our best player on offense, who will be a 1st round pick Colston Loveland is sitting out. No Will Johnson, who will be a 1st round pick. EVERYONE is sitting out.
So Bama will be playing all the backups from Michigan. I wouldn't be shocked if we are down 21+ points by halftime.

Maybe not QB, but there’s a role in the NFL for someone his size with his athletic ability
But he’ll get a shot at QB in the NFL. He’s showed more potential at QB than Anthony Richardson ever did in college

I don’t think both of these are true. I do agree Bowls should almost be treated like a spring Game. You need to use the game to figure out what is on your returning roster and what areas you need to work on for next season.
I also can’t say any senior or draft eligible player participating in the game is selfish. That’s their team playing a game. It’s up to the coach to moderate their play. If Milroe takes every snap in the game and the heir apparent doesn’t get a single snap, that is on the coach
