Oregon's new head coach Dan Lanning ends his defensive coordinator career with Georgia with a national championship and no better way to finish the game then with a pick 6. Welcome to Eugene coach! Show those recruits and current players that ring and bring one to Oregon!

To Georgia, the Ducks will see you game 1 next season. Get ready to defend that national title week 1. Lanning is ready!

What I learned from this thread is Oregon learns they are not in the Natty mix in week 1 next season.

OD will have a convoluted scenario whereby a 1-loss Oregon still delivers a Natty on a platter.
To be fair, we'd all be pretty disappointed if he didn't. Right?

Loving the haters in this thread. They are affiliated with teams with either zero hope of even getting close to the CFP's, or just had a season where Oregon came to their house and beat them. Oregon plays Georgia in a "neutral site" game to open the season in Atlanta, Georgia. Although I think the Ducks can win, I think it's pretty obvious that the loser of that game is nowhere near out of the CFP. It's really a win-win game, it boosts both teams resume's win or lose.

Avy bet A&M ends higher ranked than Ducks next season?
