The NFL announced today that the Week 15 Sunday Night Football matchup has been flexed: out with Niners-Cowboys, in with Browns-Giants.

It’s undeniable that Browns-Giants is a more compelling football game, but it’s nonetheless impossible to overstate how wild this flex is. For decades, networks have battled each other relentlessly trying to get as many Cowboys games as possible. You could write them as the biggest ratings draw in Sharpie.

According to 506 Sports, since NFL flex scheduling began in 2006, this is the first time the Cowboys have ever been flexed out of Sunday Night Football.

Cowboys suck. It's been apparent for awhile, but now is fairly definitive. The same thing happened to the Niners in the '00s.

Getting flexed is bad. Getting flexed for a divisional rival vs the Browns is LoL.

Ooh well. The Jones family swim in cash with the brand they built. So much that they don't give a shit about the product on the field because they have generational following but this current generation hasn't seen them win a divisional playoff game so they best make some changes or daddy Jones is going to leave them a shitty product that wont make any money.
 
I understand it, but even with the cowboys sucking the ratings for their game would have been higher than Browns and Giants.

Everyone either loves or hates the cowboys. so if we are winning we get nationwide eyeballs watching. And if we are getting our asses kicked, we get nationwide eyeballs watching.

You know if you guys want me to start more threads bashing the Cowboys you are going to have to give my OP more likes. I only respond to positive reinforcement.
 
Cowboys are terrible and yet it seems like they've been on many primetime games this year. It's nice to see them get bumped, and even more funny they are getting bumped for the Browns vs Giants.
 
They should "flex" the entire NFC Least Division down into the ranks of college football.
