Well water is MUCH more cost effective than city water and the quality of water is likely a push. Cities typically add a bunch of chemicals to treat the water they pump out of polluted resources. Country water is more natural, but could contain unfiltered pollutants and natural sediments. If you want clean water, you need to properly treat it yourself no matter where you live. And the result coming out of your faucets is also heavily reliant on the condition of the pipes in your house.

Callihan for drinking, cooking, and coffee. Well water for laundry and showers. Also for watering garden. Potted plants get collected rain water.

We had an osmosis machine and it didn’t seem to do much as far as the taste goes. The hard water was rough on my skin too for some reason. Really dried my hands out.

All my drinking water goes through Britta filter w city water.
 
Here within the next couple of years, I wanna move to a property where I don’t even have a mailbox much less an address posted. I’ll just go pick my mail up once a week at the post office.

As far as mail goes, you can do that now. Get a P.O. box and have all mail forwarded there. Then, remove your mailbox.

Yeah, I could do that but I’ve got to sell this damn thing so I don’t wanna destroy my perfectly fine brick mailbox.

When I retire and it’s gonna be soon, I’m getting the fuck out of civilization and moving out to the backwoods of Alabama
