Most of the folks who post here are males in their late 30's to 50's. Of the ones who are not married, the vast majority were married and don't want to be again or are incels. You picked the wrong site for this thread.

I dabbled a bit much in these back years ago when single. Sites do matter, but not as much as one would think.

Tinder can be trash and should be avoided if looking for a relationship, obviously. But any online site can be garbage and attract the same people.

People and their issues. Most people have issues they aren’t working on, and an online presence helps hide that. My issue (I will admit fully)….I embraced the stand off aspect many males gravitate to. Had to pull my self back and do ethics checks. There will be a lot of guys that might be quality, but are stuck in a mentality almost like being at a smorgasbord.

At the same time….I met the Mrs this way. At least the initial intro. So….exceptions exist, but you have to pan a lot of dirt to find the gold.

I don’t need to go on about Tinder and you know it. There will be people that say they met and married from there. It’s very much an exception though.

I did use Bumble. Only plus there is the women have to make the first reply within 24 hours of a match. I found it did bring a little more comfort that they get to have that control and merely matching doesn’t mean you have some tactless incel coming at you.
