Deion Sanders told Colorado band to not play fight song after Shedeur touchdowns so stadium can play Shedeur's rap song instead

Colorado fight song:

Shedeur Sanders "Perfect Timing":

No Way What GIF by Your Happy Workplace

I had no idea that his kid even had a song so.....

Coach Sanders and his kid FTW, now I do.... and so does aaaallllll those potential consumers of that genre of music.

Like him or not, regardless if he wins or not, the guy knows how to push product.

I feel sure he knew full well that the song was never gonna happen over the school's band but getting his kids music on people's lips was and.. he was right, just look in this thread.

If teams coming up can play like Nebraska did, they won't have to worry about playing either one.

There is no “I” in TEAM Shedur.

It’s funny how things are coming to light after prophet is exposed.
Nasty fight with Warren Sapp doing commentary.

I always thought Sapp was a terrible hire. He’s an asshole of a person and I’m just not sure he has any coaching acumen. Just because you played the position doesn’t mean you can teach it effectively. Seems like Deion’s model is to get star struck kids to come hang out with his celebrity buddies. That and Sapp was basically broke so Deion was trying to help his friend.

Whoa I just listen to it and even with autotune it’s terrible.

It's not lies, though. Even this statement where they're trying to defuse the situation admits, quoting directly from the school's official statement:

Colorado Statement said:
When Shedeur Sanders scores, the band will wait a moment for a small snippet of Shedeur's song to play before immediately kicking into 'Glory, Glory, Colorado'
