Just finished the single season series. Of Dexter - New Blood. Disappointment.

Another series but made as prequels.

wait what? a prequel dexter series? so a series that wouldn't even deal with dexter? like we saw dexter's whole story, so it can't be based on him. why? if you want to do a serial killer series, i feel like it'd be very easy. I have ideas...

also, i guess i deleted this from my post, but they had the flashbacks of young dexter with james remar (apologies if I spell is name wrong) this isn't needed, at all. I understand they could expand upon it, but fuck, talk about wringing out the bar rag to make a cocktail (is that a saying? it should be).
 
Yeah the young years when he is just starting to kill. I don't have much confidence because the new actor doesn't look like Dexter. Maybe it will surprise. I'm going to watch anyway.

Orig8nal Dexter sucked. Such a rinse and repeat show.
 
Just saw this is streaming now. Paramount+ one episode.

I don't get this channel, someone watch and report back here.

My guess is Dexter kills someone.
 
I think this shows as young Deb & Dexter picks up on their mannerisms perfectly.
