First LOL at Bama having to beg.

Second how is this legal?

While LSU has been promoting a ‘match offer’ from head coach Brian Kelly, and Florida State has redirected almost $4 million of Mike Norvell's contract to future NIL funding,

That is basically, the school funding the NIL cooperative.

More donors than you can imagine have said "no" to the NIL scam. Scam? Well, maybe ripoff is a better word. If you contribute $$$ to an improvement in a facility or upgrading the equipment, etc. that money sticks for awhile....maybe a long time. But forking over money to buy some mercenary for only God knows how long has no appeal for a lot of donors who worked hard for their dollars and don't want them wasted on players who are just doing a money grab to play for how long at the donor's favorite school? It's true in all sports. Football players are getting the most attention but it's true from the major sports down to the minor sports. Don't be surprised when donors are largely replaced by outside "partners" like private equity companies. It's coming.

I do believe it is… at the least the school would be funding a portion of the NIL by doing this.
