Think it will be a good game. Pokes have a lot to play for. That defense needs to show up and show up big. The game is before all the other meaningful conference championships, right? Noon I think. Pokes need to win and win big to show they belong if Cincy barely wins.

The pokes will be in over Cincy so long as they beat Baylor.

Cincy needs Bama to lose to really ensure that they get in.

Assuming Bama loses, it will be UGA, Michigan, Pokes, and Cincy.

I know it sounds crazy as no G5 team has made the CFP, but I think Cincy is in if they beat Houston. That road win over ND 24-13, giving ND their only loss on the year, will give them plenty of votes to not get jumped.

I suppose if they really struggle with Houston and Okie State blows out Baylor, it could change the voters mind, but I just think this is the year a CFP gets in, simply because they can match best win with almost anyone.

I think it will be UGA 1, Michigan 2, Cincy 3, Okie State 4, if Bama loses.

i had no idea what LARPing was - then I was driving home one day past a park and there was like 2 dozen virgins running around with foam swords and wearing bed sheets as capes -- it was explained to me that they were a LARP'ing group from the HS.

Yeah I dont see it that way. The big12 is significantly harder conference than the AAC. I posted a pic showcasing the ranking of the confereces. Big12 is 3rd behind the SEC and B1G. Okie St will have had a tougher road.

That will be the most interesting spot if all the games went chalk. Georgia would be 1, Michigan would 2. Will Okie State jump 11-1 ND and 13-0 Cincy by beating Baylor? This week's ranking, which i think is going on right now, will be very telling. If Okie is still behind ND and Cincy -- I could see them jumping ND with a Baylor win, but if Cincy beats ranked Houston -- I don't think they jump Cincy.

Who knows though? Going to be very interesting to see what happens after this weekend. There is going to be one or two teams who are going to be pissed off. I'm just hoping UM can beat Iowa and remove themselves from any worry about if they are in.

Glad you said "almost". Michigan's win over tOSU is the best win of the year so far IMHO.

That was the craziest thing I have ever seen. These guys had full on costumes, chasing other guys around a park with these elaborate foam swords. I'd beat my own son up if i ever caught him doing something like that, just to prepare him for life in high school.

Yeah, the road win over ND is going to be tough to convince people Cincy doesn't belong in the top 4 if they go undefeated, especially in a year where the usual powerhouses, Clemson, Bama, OSU, OU, etc. are all out (well, assuming Bama loses to Georgia).

If there were ever a year for a G5 to get in, this is the year. If Cincy gets left out this year -- they just need to tell the G5 schools - Look, you are never getting into the CFP

Yep -- Okie is up to #5 -- ND is essentially out now, unless Okie State loses. If Georgia beats Bama and all others win -- it will be a coin flip on who 3 and 4 is, between Cincy and Okie State.

Junior jumps cincy if they both win so they can have Georgia take on Cincy while Michigan gets Junior. Assuming chalk happens this weekend.

That could happen -- it'd come down to essentially a coin flip between the 2 teams and who they think Georgia would have an easier time with. In all honesty -- I wouldn't care if they put Michigan 4, even if we win. I just want to be in the CFP.

And the 2 vs 3 game would be in Arlington. So even as the no. 3 seed it would be a defacto home game for us. There will be a lot of orange in the stands this weekend. I can only imagine how much if we somehow manage to get a playoff game within driving distance of our fan base.
