Do the Yankees fire Aaron Boone?

Most of the time, the thought of firing a manager whose team made the CS would be laughable, but this is the Yankees and the Royals have two AL pennants since the Yankees last got one.

And Boone has kinda made himself look like a clown with his interviews, blaming the game 2 loss on the roof being open in Houston, which seemed to rub off on the players too calling it a lucky win for the Astros and all. That has to embarrass the fan base and organization more than the actual loss

And then getting flat out swept 4-0 and a lot of dumb decisions. Bad pen management, leaving Cortez in the game despite his fastball being significantly slower than normal, etc

I doubt he gets fired, but if I were a Yankees fan, I’d be calling for his firing

I don't think Boone's a good manager, but I'd put this more on the players not performing and the front office than him. Not much a manager can do when your lineup puts up a .502 OPS and scores 9 freaking runs. The only hitters that really showd up were Rizzo and Bader (and up until this postseason, you had to listen to Yankees fans bitching about the Bader/Montgomery trade).
