They have 5g in the black just not the ultra band. They have 3/4 the population covered with ultra band on the pink blips on the right is basically Omaha and Lincoln metro's

The one in the OP is misleading...but not false. That particular company also includes towers that aren't theirs.

I think every carrier lies about their coverage.

Can't count how many times I've been in different areas that the maps showed strong coverage where there was no coverage at all.

I'm in that bright red area right now and without wifi I'd have to go outside, stand on one foot and hold my phone in the air and then maybe I'd get something.
