I enjoyed Dr Horrible. It was a simple, straight forward story and really well done. It has nothing to do with Neil Patrick Harris being Dr Horrible, it has everything to do with the straight forward way the story is told.

Star Wars did pick a shitty actor to play Anakin though.

I agree that Hayden Christensen's acting was poor - especially in "Attack of the Clones" (was better - but not good - in "Revenge of the Sith"). I don't blame it all on him, though. George Lucas should've hired someone else to write and direct the Anakin-Padme love storyline. The entire storyline was cringe-inducing from start to finish. Lucas' dialog was impossible to act against with any kind of believability.

I was going to say, it comes back to Georgie's Achilles heel- dialogue.

Dr. Horrible was awesome. I understand the reasoning behind this. It was brilliant for Whedon to make Harris an antihero and Fillon as as basically a The Boys Supe.

But yeah we are talking about some one off characters versus arguably the greatest villain of our age who was completely fleshed out in Clone Wars.

I want to debate this because one character had 90 minutes of screen time and the other had 6 movies and an entire show but yeah. Dr Horrible had a clear dark turn and the greatest villain we have ever known was turned because he was overprotective of his wife and his superiors were dicks to him and his assistant.

My mind is blown here
