TV Series Dune: Prophecy

The Navigators enabled interstellar travel by "folding space". The Navigators were once humans but due to their long ingestion of the spice were transformed into those hideous white worms. The prolonged spice also gave them the power to manipulate space an was the source of their power, even over the emperor. This was why the spice was so important. None of this was covered in the modern versions. Thumbs down.
 
I don't think anyone should watch Prophecy.

Not a bunch of witchcraft and special effects. There is some, but not much. Lots of learning about a couple of the bloodlines or houses...depends who is talking about them.
