I hadn’t really thought about this. That’s a point to consider. A huge part of me hopes they don’t go 1 this year and 3 next year, as I want two first rounders of talent this year to toss into the rebuild.If QB is what they prioritize, then I would think on draft day they will trade out of one of their remaining 1sts this year for a 1st next year. 3 1sts next year pretty much guarantees they could get into the top 3 to pick a QB. And as players start to fall there will be teams looking to jump the line this year, like always.
But, Hurts is such a question mark that this could be merited as well. One thing I have liked…..there’s not griping stories coming out about this about a disgruntled Eagles QB. They can’t even seem to manufacture it. Was the same thing when they got Minshew.
I’ll say that for Hurts, kid has his flaws, but his head is on right, unlike his predecessor.
