Most of the cities on the list seem ridiculous but here would be a top 5 if I had to pick:

1. Portland, Oregon
2. St Louis, MO (return)
3. San Diego, CA
4. London, England
5. Salt Lake City, UT

Some of these like Omaha make 0 sense. Richmond, VA just takes from Washington Capitols; Orlando from Jacksonville Jaguars; Louisville from Cincinnati Bengals; and Columbus from both Bengals and Browns.

Ain't no way Portland gets a team as that city has major issues.

I would say San Diego would #1 if they could get a new stadium built.
#2 San Antonio
#3 St Louis
#4 Raliegh North Carolina
#5 Salt Lake City
#6 Toronto
#7 Montreal

London will only get a team when the NFL can expand into Europe with 3 teams so there will never just be a London team you would need Paris, Madrid and Berlin to go with them. It is going to take time to get the interest, ownership and corporate sponsorship there but it will happen.

Not sure Paris and Madrid would draw, but the Germans love some American Football and even have their own league. Netherlands also, and I'd throw in Ireland and France because they do love Rugby. For possible European cities I'd say:
Germany:
Munich
Frankfurt
Berlin

UK:
London
Manchester
Edinburgh
Glasgow
Cardiff

France:
Paris

Ireland:
Dublin

Netherlands:
Amsterdam
Rotterdam

Top 3 choices: London, Munich, Frankfurt

St. Louis has gotten their heart broken twice. Some angry NFL fans there for sure

Yeah, Mizzou doesn't tend to have a big draw. St Louis always struck me as a Pro sports town. I am surprised the Rams left (especially with Chargers already going to LA).

It had nothing to do with support, was all about Kroenke's greed.

The Rams moved before the Chargers.

The tank/fix was in for the new stadium in LA. Chargers came after it was announced. St. Louis is a great sports town which is why they are so butthurt.

But they are kinda getting the last laugh because there are not a lot of Rams fans in SoCal. Some but not a lot

No expansion. 32 is good.

What should happen, though, is that 17th game on the schedule should be a neutral site game. Plenty of opportunity for non-NFL markets to get an NFL game.

I don’t buy into expansion making sense for the NFL domestically.

But, if they are going to I can’t see Orlando being in that. Not because of markets (they don’t give a shit about that) but because any such franchise would need some $2-3B of public funds.

And the finances of the area I live are just fine and dandy thank you, move on elsewhere.

As for Europe….Germany clearly just made a solid case.

I just threw big European cities I don't have a clue who would be receptive. I doubt the Uk/Ireland could support 6 teams though.

I think if there is enough interest in 4 cities then the NFL will expand there as that would be enough to give each 3 games on the continent and they could work travel and stay in the US for multiple weeks. I give it 10 years and then it will happen.

It's going to happen there are too many cities that have grown large enough to support a team and plenty of money to pay for them.

IF they expanded internationally, I think first choice would be Canada (Toronto or Montreal probably), and Mexico City.

Not saying 6 teams in the UK, just which cities I think would be viable, London first obviously.

IMO, you will definitely see expansion in foreign countries before any more teams get added in the US.

I'd agree with this. If they want to expand the brand, the best way to do that is internationally. The US market is more or less super saturated.
A single team in London never made sense due to travel. 4 teams in the general western Europe area though, very doable.

My general concerns there would be:
- how bad will these expansion teams be?
- how diluted will the NFL talent pool be by expanding by 12%?

You would also have to pretty significantly reformat divisions & conferences to accommodate.

How many players are going to pull an Eli and refuse to sign with a foreign team?

the only issue i have with S.A is that area is so saturated with die hard Cowboy fans you have to wonder if you could get them to switch.

No more expansion.

In fact, we probably should contract about a dozen teams.
