Last night I couldn't sleep and I started browsing around youtube for some old football games. I came across two complete broadcasts of my favorite MNF games:

1) 1987 Raiders vs. Seahawks
Bo Jackson ran 91 yards and into the tunnel untouched then later demolished Bosworth at the goal line. I think coming into that game the Raiders had lost 3 straight. Raiders had Bo, Marcus Allen still in his prime, Howie Long, Millen, Marc Wilson was the QB.

2) 1994 Bears vs. Packers
Halloween Night
Two of the NFL's most historic franchises, division rivals
Throwback uniforms
Retiring Butkus and Sayers jerseys at halftime
Horrible weather with rain 40-50 mph winds, single digit windchills
Favre had zero passing yards in the first half

What are your favorite MNF memories?

Bears at Arizona 2006. Bears erased a 23-3 late third quarter deficit without scoring an offensive TD. 2 Defensive TDs and Hester sealing the deal.

Bears vs Rams also 2006. Hester returns 2 kickoffs for TDs

@broncosmitty I know you got some
Picture it, Kalamazoo, early fall, 2001.

Ive been hard at work, stocking shelves and selling turkey licences.

My roommates have been drinking and smoking dope. While watching the first half of MNF. 9ers at Jets.

Walk in the door “What’d I miss so far fags?”

Dude, you’re not gonna believe what Dennis Miller said. He said “I have seen a Jet hit anything that hard in almost a month!”

I go on a five minute rant about how Miller needs this and that. Those fuckholes kept straight faces the whole time. Still kinda proud of em tbh.

That's crazy. I don't remember that!?

That Fall, I was living in Oregon, and some Mormon missionaries caught me one night really stoned and drunk and chatty. I endulged them for sport, and then they started showing up every Monday night, and at the end of the 2nd visit, I realized they were just using me for Monday Nite Football. There wasn't a 3rd visit.

lulz

You don’t remember it, cuz it didn’t happen.

My roommates were fucking with me. I mean, that story happened, but Miller didn’t say it.

May not be my favorite memory but it's one I will never forget.

Pretty much sums up this junior varsity franchise.

If it was Sunday Night Football it would be Joe smooching Suzy..

Eagles memories:
2010 Eagles-Redskins
2001 Eagles-Giants (though the week 16 rematch was better)
2004 Eagles-Cowboys
2002 Eagles-49ers

Other:
2012 Seahawks-Packers
2000 Packers-Vikings
2018 Rams-Chiefs
2006 Bears-Cardinals
2020 Browns-Ravens

Favre's big game vs. Raiders after father's passing.
Freeman's OT catch vs MIN.

Favre's win over the Raiders after his dad died.

Most MNF's in the 90's, i just remember sitting in school on monday being super excited knowing there was football to watch that night.

Not sure the year (the Mark Brunell years) but Redskins down 13-0 to Dallas with under 3 min to go and he hits Santana Moss with 2 bombs for the improbable W . I still use that game when I tell my sons it ain’t over till the clock is 0:00
