Got Little Guy's room mostly in order on Saturday. Still have a bookshelf on the wall that I need to take down. Wife's cousin and her family visited yesterday afternoon, which was good for Ham to have kids to run around with outside.

The township rec soccer program is happening this fall, which Ham is excited about.

Long weekend was pretty good. We talked with SA's sister a little bit about flying to the UK to visit their brother next year. So, looks like England in the spring, South Africa in the winter next year.

Fly out to Chicago today, get back Wednesday. Probably going to be a pain in the ass, but I am a points whore, so I'm happy to be traveling again.

Apparently I already took off Friday. So...4 day weekend for me. One of the South African families is having a get together. Including us, there will be 5 potjies going. She wants to make an oxtail potjie, so I need to find some oxtail somewhere.

moving sometime in sept. been at my place 3 years, time for a new place. renting half a duplex in ashland, just gotta sign the lease this week and drop a deposit. owner has bee hives, heritage chickens, gardens etc. 3 acres.

Interview went pretty well on Friday and should be hearing back early this week. Seemed like a definite upgrade from what I saw, but I'm sure they have their downsides just the same. Convinced the broad to not live downtown and somewhere cheaper.
