For some reason this day holds tremendous significance for womyns; men could give less than shit about it and just get stuff to make her happy so they don't get nagged.

Time to get your escape pack together: clothes, credit cards, passports, computers, critical documents. Store other valuable personal property away from the house where you'll be barred from. Close all joint accounts, and set up notice with the county recorders office to get notice if there is anything filed that affects title to your property. Take her name off any beneficiary designations, check out places to stay and some lawyers.

I am going to look at this from a more optimistic perspective. Maybe he just drove to the wrong office because something terrible and life-threatening happened to his brain :noidea::wink:
