First team EVER to lose 9 games all in single digits

NU has swung and missed (happens all over CFB) at QB and a few other spots and it’s cost em wins.

And the guy I saw yesterday doesn't seem to be the answer.

If Mike Leach can go find Josh Heupel at some no name school in Utah and bring him into Oklahoma, then Frost ought to be able to find a QB somewhere.
They're all over the place.

I thought he was from South Dakota?

Greatest 3-9 team of all time.... #KingoftheLosers

Yea he either needs to adapt his offense to that QB or hit the portal and get a guy who can do what his offense is designed to do.
kid showed some flashes and he IS young but Frost needs to have a winning season ASAP, kid may need to wait another year or two to be really effective. Some of it is just dumb players too. For example the punt being fielded inside the 10 that lead to the safety, I know that’s taught but if the player is too dumb to be aware of the situation and the depth isn’t where it should be then.. ain’t much you can do right away as a coach, gotta make changes after the season.

progress.

Nebraska fielded one running backwards over his shoulder at the 2 earlier this season.
LOL, I was going to bring the same thing up. If only there was a coaching position that focused solely on these issues....

That’s just low player IQ.
There is not a special teams coach at any level that would teach crap like that but sometimes teams just don’t have anyone else to put back there that can field a punt AT ALL.
As a former WVU fan I’ve seen that scenario many times due to poor overall depth/quality of players, ESPECIALLY players that have a clue about how to play special teams. Nebraska is a better program but at this point in history they are at THAT level. Gotta give it a little more time and everyone from the president down needs to be on board. No more snitching on the coach when he bends the rules to make the team better (meaning the “practice” fiasco, what a joke) . Those kinds of people need to be weeded out and replaced with people who are all in.

The guy who did this is a likely 2nd/3rd round draft pick so i don't think that's it. It's a lack of focus on the ST phase of the game; i.e.- hire a fucking ST Coordinator!!!!

you can have that kind of talent and still be as dumb as a bag of hammers. That actually makes sense as to why he wasn't benched for being that stupid. The risk/reward is worth it in Frosts eyes having nobody else close to that level talentwise. Agree a ST coordinator who would bench him for a walk on fan to drive the point home for idiotic stuff like that imo would be ideal. JMO but I like players at that position to play THAT POSITION as their #1 job then WR/RB/DB or whatever but again, that takes depth and it takes a player willing to do that job and be happy with it.
